Disabled student allowance (DSA)

Disabled Student Allowance Scheme – Non-Medical Help

Open Sight is able to offer support to severely sight impaired and visually impaired students who qualify for DSA support when studying at College or University.

We are registered with the DSA QAG as being able to provide non-medical support to students needing orientation and mobility training at University or College. Training   is provided to familiarise the student with the layout of the University and can also include orientation of the surrounding area, if this has been included in the DSA assessment.
