|£18,500 — £21,000 per year (pro-rata 30 hours over 4 days per week)
Must be 18yrs+ and hold a full UK driving licence.
Open Sight is the largest charitable organisation in Hampshire working with people who have, or who are experiencing the effects of sight loss. Based in Eastleigh, Open Sight, has provided uninterrupted support to the blind and partially sighted community of Hampshire since 1922.
An Independent Living Advisor (ILA) is required to provide appropriate practical assistance to aid the application for statutory benefits available to sight impaired people across Hampshire. Training will be provided.
The post involves providing an empathetic approach and the ability to work alone when undertaking home visits to clients throughout the County.
A background in the provision of services for disability or disadvantaged groups is desirable and a good all round minimum education with GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Open Sight is currently looking to recruit non-executive Directors into the position of Trustees.
